Oracle C2M 2.8 Complete Installation on Windows (Part - V) - Final Step

Installing Oracle C2M product:

Download the below from Oracle Software Delivery Cloud: https://edelivery.oracle.com/osdc/faces/SoftwareDelivery

Below are the steps for C2M Application installation:

·        Install Oracle Utilities Application Framework V4.4.0.3.0

·        Update Keystore

·        Install Oracle Utilities Application Framework V4.4.0.3.0 Prerequisite Single Fixes

·        Install Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing V2.8.0.0.0

·        Install Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing V2.8.0.0.0 Post-release Patches

·        Install Oracle Utilities Meter Data Management V2.4.0.0.0

·        Install Oracle Utilities Operational Device Management V2.3.0.0.0

·        Install Oracle Utilities Customer To Meter V2.8.0.0.0

·        Install Oracle Utilities Customer To Meter V2.8.0.0.0 Post-release Patches

 

Framework installation:

 

C:\Users\.....\Downloads\V1006661-01.zip

 

Copy the file FW-V4.4.0.3.0-MultiPlatform.jar from the delivered package to the

cd C:\temp\V1006661-01

jar -xvf FW-V4.4.0.3.0-MultiPlatform.jar

 

cd FW-V4.4.0.3.0

run install.cmd

 

Oracle C2M 2.8 Installation on Windows (Part - I)

 Following are the steps of installation:

·        Downloading and installing prerequisites

·        Setting System variables

·        Downloading C2M product, Oracle DB 19c and WebLogic Server 12

·        Installing Oracle C2M database (Demo Install)

·        Native installation on Weblogic

·        Installing Oracle C2M product

 

Downloading and installing prerequisites:

Install Java at C:\c2m\java

Supported Versions: Oracle Java SE Development Kit 1.8.0_x

After installation, folders should look like this:

Create Folder Structure:

 

Environments Variables:

Create the following System variables

·        HIBERNATE_JAR_DIR - C:\c2m\hibernate

·        JAVA_HOME - C:\c2m\java\jdk

·        ORACLE_CLIENT_HOME - C:\app\product\19.0.0\dbhome_1

 

Append the following paths to the existing PATH system variable

C:\c2m\java\jdk\bin;C:\c2m\java\jdk\lib;C:\app\product\19.0.0\dbhome_1;%ORACLE_CLIENT_HOME%\perl\bin

 

Creating hibernate folder

Download Link: https://sourceforge.net/projects/hibernate/files/hibernate4/4.1.0.Final/hibernate-release-4.1.0.Final.zip/download

Create ‘hibernate’ folder in 'C:/c2m' folder. Copy the below jar files to this location. Not specifying the location for downloading these files as they are generic files available for download. Download from your desired location. Just ensure that the version numbers match.

·        ehcache-core-2.4.3.jar

·        hibernate-commons-annotations-4.0.1.Final.jar

·        hibernate-core-4.1.0.Final.jar

·        hibernate-ehcache-4.1.0.Final.jar

·        hibernate-jpa-2.0-api-1.0.1.Final.jar

·        javassist-3.15.0-GA.jar

·        jboss-logging-3.3.0.Final.jar

·        jboss-transaction-api_1.1_spec-1.0.0.Final.jar
